Megan E. Rivera

Megan E. Rivera is a fellow for policy and advocacy at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth and was Equitable Growth’s Siegel Research Fellow from 2024 to 2025, focused on the impact of emerging technologies on workers. Before joining Equitable Growth, she was a senior policy analyst at the Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality and the policy and outreach advisor on the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth. Previously, she served in research, policy, and advocacy roles for the University of Virginia’s Department of Politics, Global Policy Center, and the Equity Center, as well as for the Texas House of Representatives. Rivera holds a B.S. in political science with honors from the University of Houston and an M.P.P. from the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
