
Christine Silvia-DeGennaro
Christine Silvia-DeGennaro is the Senior Workplace Technology Policy Advocate for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), where she works on policies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and workplace technology as well as raising revenues for state and local governments. An accomplished legislative and policy specialist, Christine recently retired from the AFL-CIO after 30 years of work on federal, state and local legislative and policy issues and campaigns, including AI and technology, legislation to build worker power, and defending against attacks on public and private sector workers. She holds a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
